An extremely fine, original 1860 Colt Army Revolver, Civilian Model with the
shoulder stock. sn: 149143, Circa: 1863. This Civil War era pistol has the "s"
stamp indicating it was sold originally with a shoulder stock. Both the Colt and
the shoulder stock are in absolutely beautiful condition. Most original blue, sharp
markings on both, excellent safety pins still intact with a clear cylinder scene. Tight
crisp action, good case colors on the frame, and the grips still have most all the
original varnish. Most of the original silver still remains on the trigger guard. The
stock tightens perfectly to the frame. All numbers are matching with the cylinder
being double stamped, which was not uncommon with a shoulder stocked 1860
Civilian Model Colt. A fine and rare piece from America's Civil War era.
